THE BRIEF

To design funky and individual yet cohesive cover art for each single on an album.

This project has been beyond fun! Maria (EmZee) reached out to me in hopes of having some really fun and unique covers for her singles. EmZee & Silas will release a new song and cover art at the end of each month of 2020. By the end of the year there will be a full album and vinyl along with a 2021 calendar.  I decided to use a reoccurring illustration of EmZee & Silas, however, I didn’t want it to be a typical portrait so I made her mouth extra large and gave him a tiny guitar. Each single has the same, consistent portraits and song title font for congruency, but change up the scene and color palette to create distinction.
